The Homepage

By default WordPress themes usually have a homepage that pulls most recent posts and populates most things for you. You will want to create a new page for the homepage, and use the Divi Page Builder to customize the look. There are many templates for homepages that are built into divi. You can use these and customize them for your site, or you can use them as a jumping point and add/remove elements to customize it even more.

Things to remember when you are creating your homepage.

  • Feel free to use pre-made layouts as a jumping point, but make the content your own.
  • Use legally obtained images, icons, and other assets.
  • Take the time to make this look good.
  • Do not put filler content in. Insert actual content that you want to have on your homepage.
