Project/Category Pages

When showcasing work it is good to display related individual projects on a single page. This allows your viewer to get an quick understanding of what you have to offer, and allows them to select items that interest them. We can accomplish this by letting WordPress dynamically generate a page with our posts that we have categorized.

The above image showcases what these project/category pages should look like. These should be actual pages built with the Divi Page Builder. Use the following instructions to setup these pages.

Step 1 – Categories

Make sure you have created a category for the page you want to populate with your work. In this example we have created one called “Family,” which will be used to categorize all the posts related to family pictures.

Create posts and categorize them. In this example you can see that the 7 visible posts have all been categorized with a variety of categories, but they all have a category of “Family.” All of the posts that are categorized as “Family” will end up showing up on our Project/Category Page.
