Categories

WordPress uses categories to group related posts. For instance all posts on the topic of night photography could be categorized as night photography. You can actually categorize posts in more than one category. Night photography posts could also be categorized as just photography. We will leverage the grouping capabilities of WordPress as we setup our site.

“Featured” Category

Creating a featured category can be very helpful when you are trying to display a select group of posts that might not have anything in common other than being some of your best work. We will create this now in case you want to use it later.
